The Woodman Steeped in History
The Georgian style building dates back to 1858, it was granted the licence to become a Beer House in accordance with the Duke of Wellington’s Beer House act of 1830.
A Warm Welcome Always
Today the Woodman is run by Maria and Tom and their dedicated kitchen and front of house teams.
WE AIM TO ONLY USE THE FRESHEST LOCAL INGREDIENTS
We have fresh fish and meat deliveries every day. Lee’s Farm Shop next door provide us with all our fresh vegetables, and our potatoes are supplied by local farmer John Evans. We are very grateful to all our local suppliers - our food miles board is a big thank you to you all!
